Hair Growth Cycle

It is important to understand the hair growth cycle to understand how the hair fall treatment works. Hair growth and shedding goes through 3 phases in a continuous cycle. The duration that the hair follicle spends in each phase is determined by genetics, hormones and the area of the body.

INGREDIENTS

L-Cystine

Cystine is the main component of hair keratin, it promotes the natural function of the hair root and has an antioxidative effect, acting as a free radicle scavenger.

PABA (Para-Aminobenzoic Acid)

Para-aminobenzoic acid has a positive effect on the pigmentation of the hair.

Saw Palmetto Extract

Works by interrupting hormonal signals and therefore reducing the uptake by the hair follicles of a damaging chemical called dyhydrotestosterone (DHT). DHT is also responsible for shrinking hair follicle with which the hair follicle gets smaller and finer. This is referred to as miniaturization with which the hair ultimately falls off. This is how DHT is responsible for about 95% of hair loss. The men or women who lose more hair are those who are genetically pre-disposed in producing more DHT than others.

Biotin

It is a B vitamin, which contributes to the maintenance of healthy hair as it performs important functions in cell division, especially in the scalp. Biotin is also essential for the metabolism of amino acids. L-cysteine and L-methionine are both sulphuric amino acids form essential proteins needed to produce hair.

Pantothenic Acid

Deficiency of this vitamin is known to cause premature graying of the hair and hair loss. Furthermore, the vitamin provides nourishment for hair follicle cells and also regulates the sebum level of the scalp.

Folic Acid

Because folate is important in tissue growth and cellular function, it is essential for your body to have enough of it to produce healthy skin, nails and hair, because these body parts must regenerate rapidly. Folic acid therefore helps prevent hair loss. It also may be a factor in keeping your hair from becoming gray.

Zinc, Copper & Selenium

Theyare micronutrients, which contribute to the maintenance of normal, healthy hair. Copper also plays an important role in maintaining natural hair pigmentation and has antioxidant properties.

Iron

It is another important mineral, which contributes to normal functioning of the immune system and is important for the transport of oxygen and nutrients throughout the body. This helps to ensure that the hair roots have access to the nourishment they require.
